individual therapy

I incorporate a variety of nonverbal and verbal approaches in therapy. Depending on your needs and interests, your therapy can integrate expressive arts and movement therapy alongside verbal therapy.

I provide in-person, individual therapy services to adults experiencing:

  • Life transitions

  • Emotional challenges

  • Anxiety/stress

  • Negative self-concept

  • Identity exploration

  • Women’s issues

  • Trauma & complex PTSD

  • Somatic symptoms

  • Mood regulation

  • Low-self esteem

  • Perfectionism

  • Neurodivergence

  • Interpersonal difficulties

  • Relationship/attachment issues

  • Family conflict

  • Depression

  • Body image concerns

  • + more

The people who come to work with me often feel disconnected from themselves, overwhelmed by emotion, or caught in patterns that no longer feel aligned. Something in body, mind, or relationships feels unsettled, and they sense that healing involves more than quick fixes.

Talking about the problem doesn't feel like enough anymore, and they're curious about what the body has to offer to the conversation. They're seeking a space where they can slow down, feel understood, and explore their inner world with care.

a large, open light-filled office with wood floors, large windows, plants, blankets, yoga mats, and lamps
cozy sitting area with a couch, pillows, blankets, decor and shelves, books, and fidgets
a floor chair next to a window, and a console table with plants and crystals on top and yoga mats and comfort items underneath

professional collaboration

I welcome opportunities to collaborate with fellow mental health providers and organizations, bringing my expertise in Dance/Movement Therapy and somatic approaches into a range of professional contexts.

  • Adjunctive therapy. Joining a client's care team as an adjunctive provider, offering somatic and movement-based support alongside their primary talk therapy.

  • Consultation for fellow clinicians, students, and related professionals. Sharing skills and expertise to support case processing, self-care, and enhancing their own practice through embodied approaches.

  • Trainings, workshops, and presentations. Facilitating experiential, process-oriented learning for universities, conferences, and mental health agencies.

This work has included:

a light filled office with two floor chairs across from each other in front of large windows; next to plants, lamps, and yoga mats
two people sitting across from each other on a studio floor; mirroring each other in movement; reaching towards the sky while leaning into the floor

My collaborations are highly experiential, engaging with the direct experience of participants to cultivate somatic intelligence, creativity, and inspiration through embodied process. Every offering is truly co-created, curated to the interests and curiosities of the group.

groups & workshops

Group work invites a different kind of exploration and adds an extra layer of possibility. Through discussion and/or movement, we get curious about what's happening within ourselves and between one another.

  • Adult Interpersonal Process Group. Currently accepting new members.

    • Meets weekly on Mondays from 5:00-6:30 PM in Central/West Austin

    • Co-led with DeLinda Spain, LCSW, CGP

  • Embodied Self-Care Group for Therapists. Autumn dates TBA. Inquire for details.

    • Using our bodies as a guide, we explore how we can nurture our own creativity, sense into what grounds us, and reconnect with ourselves and each other.

Current group offerings:

hands placing nature materials on a tree stump to make an art shape
a circle of floor chairs on wood floors in a light-filled studio, with art supplies in the middle

Like all of my work, these offerings are experiential and co-created, shaped by what each group brings.
